Not often I’m lost for words but!!! Someone has just come in for an appointment ( new) and proceeded to describe what I assume is a soft corn. Went to book an appointment, when she asked how I would treat it, I told her I would remove it if my diagnosis was correct, she then proceeded to tell me she doesn’t believe in medical intervention and wanted something to heal her from the inside like reflexology. Press Release: Podiatrist suspended for misconduct Quote: Podiatrist Robert T Smyth has been suspended from the HCPC Register for 12 months for misconduct including abusing his managerial position both in relation to the NHS Trust and a junior colleague. This misconduct included borrowing sums of money from his junior colleague during work time, whilst employed by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Trust in the West Dunbartonshire area. How many ulcers in private practice?
Hi, Having worked in the NHS where we were trying to cope with an endless stream of serious foot ulcers and now being in private practice where i have so few i fear becoming de-skilled in wound care, i wonder if others find the same Its not as though i don’t have lots of high risk patients as i have plenty, the same proportion as the rest of the population i expect.
