I was up in Northern Ontario recently educating some Nurses and PSWs who work on the Reserves. Over the past few months a young and enthusiastic MD has been practicing his new found surgical prowess with the Vandenbos procedure for ingrown toe nails. It seems practicing on patients with diabetes without checking there INR or vacsular status can be problematic.
