Weird pain after surgery

I had a Mortons Neuroma/Bursitis complex surgically excised from my 3rd/4th metatarsal space, and my Achilles lengthened on my left leg on 15th April. No real pain from the surgery, but I’m convinced the plaster cast I was in for the immediate 2 weeks following put pressure on nerves around my heel/Achilles junction, and under my ankle on the outside of my foot. I’ve been in a moon boot for the last week, and still have shooting pain on the outside of my foot, and cannot touch the skin (feels like I have a massive carpet burn!!) and now the under side of my heel is becoming really painful as well-to the point where I’m more comfortable without the moon boot on-I’m supposed to wear it for at least the next 2 weeks 24/7, then can take it off at night for the following 4 weeks..
