Quercetin for Gout

Quercetin is a natural flavonol (a kind of flavonoid) which is an inexpensive antiinflammatory and can be very helpful to prevent an attack or to treat one. It is abundant in apples, cherries, raspberries, strawberries, red onions and grapes, broccoli, tomato, spinach, green and black tea, prickly pears (which make a delicious juice after straining all the seeds). All these foods are also extremely helpful in alkalinizing blood, a most important aspect in gout prevention.
