About 2 years ago I managed to rid of my 20 year old gout .I did this first by eliminating completely fructose for 2 weeks,then re introducing it ,but reducing it to under 25 grams a day.I have been completely gout free ever since.Recently I started increasing fructose again,,and it does not affect my gout at all, I am still gout free.It looks as though what I needed was to give my system a rest from dealing with excessive fructose.But I will make sure I don’t go over the limit again.I eat everything including purines and drink beer in moderation. After suffering severe gout attacks at least once a week bad enough to stop me walking I decided to take some advice and try cherry juice and BINGO I have not had an attack for nearly 3 months,I buy 3 cartons of juice from Asda which cost a pound or 4 for 3 quid,I have a glass in the morning and another in the evening and I have not even had a twinge.I have not taken any medication since.Please give this a try and let me know if you have the same results.Photo added Continue reading →
