Sudden onset of foot pain with no trauma

Three nights ago I awoke in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and as soon as I stood on my foot I had a severe shooting pain in the arch of my foot. I do not know all of the anatomical names for the parts of the foot. The pain is in the arch of the foot just before the heel in the center.
