Sudden severe pain in bottom of the heel.

Hi, New here as I have never really had any foot related issues before. I was doing some washing earlier today, when I stepped back I got a very intense pain in the bottom of my heel, like I had stepped on something, I actually fell on the ground thinking there was something in my sock I had stepped on. Now every time I apply pressure to the ball of my heel it is painful, but not as painful as when it first happened
