About 4 years ago I had a ingrown toenail surgically removed , and the doctor “filed” the matrix off ( he explained to me that the matrix is where your toenail grows from , an he said that it should never grow back because I had to have 5 removed in 2 Years , not to mention the ones I was pulling out myself . Well it didn’t grow back fr about 2 years , but all if a sudden it grew back and it’s like it is its own little nail shoved off in the side of my nail , and it is very painful , but its attached to the cuticle and hurts when I try and tug it . I do not want to have another doctor mess with my toe ! Any ideas
